Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry
We are excited about our ministry to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at The Creek. Our Silent Small Group, held at 10:15 each Sunday morning in our pastor's office, is a special time to study God's Word. This time of study is for those who are deaf, or hard of hearing, or individuals interested in working with this special group of people. We also provide interpreters for hearing impaired children in age-graded Small Group classes, Children's Church, and in AWANA Clubs on Wednesday nights.
Our 9 am Sunday worship service, as well as our annual productions and our discipleship classes, are interpreted for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
We also have a sign language choir, Hands of Praise, made up of deaf and hearing impaired individuals and interpreters who lead in worship on a rotating basis.
We are thankful to God for raising up this ministry to serve a great group of people. Our qualified interpreters have huge hearts to minister to the deaf community around us. If you are hearing impaired or wish to learn more about working with the deaf, contact us.
