December Small Group Spotlight
9:00 am High School Coed
w/ Clark Davidson and Morgan Goodrum
Clark and Morgan both grew up in small towns in Tennessee. They met in college at the University of Tennessee, and both were involved in the student ministry of their church, Sevier Heights. “College was a great time for both of us because we both grew closer to God consistently being stretched and strengthened through our ministries.” During Clark's final year in college, he made the decision to head to Southeastern. After college, Morgan worked for a youth counseling service and after a year started thinking about seminary, and decided on heading to Southeastern as well. “We both decided to visit the Creek because we knew Dr. Reid was a part of the staff. After attending a few Sundays and realizing how the Creek embraced a Gospel community, we decided to become involved in that Gospel community.” Morgan began helping Dave Miller with the high school small group he taught and a few months later Clark began helping as well.
Clark and Morgan came to seminary to become better servants of Christ (specifically through international missions), but they also want to help others understand this as well. Clark and Morgan try to encourage friends, family, and coworkers with the love of Christ and how they serve Him. They seek to do the same with their small group, trying to influence their growing minds!
