What we offer

Sunday Morning Small Groups

"Creek Buddies"

A Buddy is someone who serves one-on-one with a child with special needs during their chosen small group class. The goal of having a Buddy is inclusion. In other words, we desire for children to participate in the same classes and activities that other children their age get to participate in. Our ultimate goal is to help the family who wants to attend church, but feels they can't because their child has special needs. We want each child to have the opportunity to worship God with other believers. All of God's children are loved and welcomed at RCCC.

Revive! {Respite for Children of all ages with Special Needs}

These monthly respites are for families with a child with special needs (open to all ages) and their siblings. During Revive!, the children and their Buddies will enjoy free choice and cooperative play, engaging art projects, fun music, and more. Revive! will be a fun place to be a kid.

Moms Support Group & Bible Study - Wednesday Nights

Moms, join us every Wednesday night, from 6:30-7:45pm in room 127, for a wonderful time of fellowship, support and bible study! We meet to encourage one another and discover biblical truths together. This semester we will be studying the book of Ruth. Bring your child to participate on our Special Friends class while you join us. For more information, please email Eleanor Waterman.

Special Friends Summer Camp

Our Special Friends camp is an amazing camp experience for individuals with special needs! Together with their buddies, they will enjoy music, crafts, snack time, Bible stories, free play and social skills building. Camp typically runs for one week in July.

Special Needs Sports League- Basketball

Designed for children of all ability levels, we will help develop athletic skills while instilling value and the importance of teamwork in your child. Our basketball players will spend an hour each week participating in drills to develop skills that they will use to play in a "scrimmage game" at the end of each session. Our cheerleaders will spend that same hour learning cheers and cheering the teams on as they play. Our season typically runs during the spring.
