Relaxing COVID Protocols This Sunday

Relaxing COVID Protocols This Sunday

by Jason Hall on May 19, 2021

As we look forward to worshiping this coming weekend, we’d like to let you know about changes our Pastoral Body has made to our COVID protocols. As always, our goal is to return to normalcy as safely as possible, and we know you are ready as well. We had already begun making plans, over the next few months, to relax our social distancing measures and mask requirements. With the recent dropping of mandates throughout the state of North Carolina, however, we decided to accelerate that timeline. So starting this Sunday, May 23 we will…

  • Reduce our social distancing recommendation to three feet. This means that the worship center will be set up as normal, and we will allow everyone to seat themselves when you enter for worship. We do recommend a three-foot distance between yourself and those outside your immediate family.
  • Because of these changes, we will drop registration for our worship services and Creek Kids ministries. Our Special Needs Ministry will continue to require registration, so you can find more information about that on the Special Need page.
  • All worship services are now mask-optional. Our 10:30 a.m. service was already doing this, but starting this week our 9 a.m. service is mask optional as well. Please know that if you would feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are welcome to do so.
  • If you are a servant or a volunteer, different ministry areas may have different suggestions for you in terms of wearing a mask on campus. Check with your ministry leader for more details on your particular ministry.

We look forward to seeing you in worship this coming Sunday!
