We have returned to on site Worship Services in a limited capacity. Please see below for details and further information.

Service Details

As we continue to walk through our first stages of reopening, here are some things you need to know:
  • Time: 9 a.m. (please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for time to park, check-in and be seated)
  • Capacity for each service is 325 individuals (pre-registration required; see below). If needed, we are prepared to open a second service at 11 a.m.
  • No child care is available. Since it is inadvisable for children two and under to wear masks, we encourage those with small children to stay home for the time being.
  • All attendees should park in the front parking lot directly in front of the main worship center, and enter and exit through the main front doors. As you enter the building, you will be asked to put on your face mask. We appreciate your putting the needs of others first as we gather for worship.
  • No food or drink will be served, and we ask that you not bring food or drink into the building.
  • No offering baskets will be passed, but baskets will be available in the back of the sanctuary for you to use as you enter and leave the service.
  • The restrooms in the front lobby will be open and available for you to use. All other restrooms in the building will be closed.

Registration

Register Now

Pre-registration is required to attend worship services.

  • Registration for the week's services closes at midnight on Thursday preceding the Sunday service, or when we hit our capacity of attendees — whichever comes first.
  • Registration is free, but we ask that you register everyone in your family who plans to attend.
  • If you register, please show up unless you are sick. Because the service has a limited capacity if you register and don’t attend you could be causing someone else to lose out on the opportunity to worship.
  • If you need help with registration, please call the church office at 919 556-9292

Health Precautions

We’ll be observing several changes to the norm to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
  • First, we advise anyone in an "at-risk” category, or who may be feeling sick, to stay home. We will continue to have an online worship service Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
  • Please practice social distancing (6 feet from others not in your immediate family) at all times. Chairs will be placed in the worship center accordingly; please do not move them. If you need assistance, speak to an usher.
  • Bathrooms available to use will be marked off for purposes of social distancing, and bathrooms will be thoroughly cleaned between services.
  • All those who wish to come into the worship center MUST wear a mask.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be accessible to you.

On Wearing Masks

Pastor Jim and Pastor Jason talk through the reasoning behind wearing masks in the worship center.

Keep in Mind

  • Please be flexible and understanding with your leaders during this time. They are doing their absolute best to love and serve the entire congregation and keep the whole church’s interests in mind.
  • If you are asked to do something you don’t want to do or hear about something you do not agree with, please be respectful and kind with your questions, and willing to submit in matters that are not essential to biblical faithfulness.
  • Be sensitive to others. Your level of comfort with the situation may not match theirs, and that’s okay. “Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up” (Rom. 15:2).
  • Be on the lookout for ways to go above and beyond in the practice of meekness, kindness, self-sacrifice, and love (Matt. 5:2-16). In the midst of a world that is stained by sin and division, let us be examples of peace and joy in ALL our conduct.
