Description

Opportunities to use your vocal and/or musical instrument giftings to help lead the congregation in worship during the Sunday Morning worship services.

Requirements

  • Must be an active member of Richland Creek Community Church
  • Must be actively involved in a small group and striving to grow and live out a conduct in personal life that is a manner worthy of the Lord and fully pleasing to Him (Colossians 1:10-12)
  • Must be able to vocally learn and follow pitches in music
  • Must be able to able to read from sheet music or chord chart
  • Must be willing to commit to attending rehearsal and practicing the music diligently throughout the week to prepare for the Sunday worship service
  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years of age

Required Times

Vocalists and musicians will be scheduled on a rotational basis.

For the week that Vocalists are scheduled - attendance at Monday evening rehearsal from 6:00 - 9:00 pm; attendance at Sunday morning rehearsal and serving in the worship services from 7:30 am - 11:00 am (after the worship set, you are released to go to small group or service with call back time being 10 minutes before the next service begins)

For the week that musicians are scheduled - attendance at Monday evening rehearsal from 6:45 - 9:00 pm; attendance at Sunday morning rehearsal and serving in the worship services from 7:30 am - 11:00 am (after the worship set, you are released to go to small group or service with call back time being 10 minutes before the next service begins)

  • Vocalists - Worship Choir
  • Musician - Electric Guitar
  • Musician - Acoustic Guitar
  • Musician - Bass
  • Musician - Drums
  • Musician - Percussion
  • Orchestral Musicians - Wind and string instruments

Process

  1. Complete and submit an application form
  2. Observe a minimum of one Monday night evening rehearsal
  3. Vocal or musical instrument audition
  4. Individual meeting
