As senior adults, together, we look to embrace the season the Lord has us in right now and seek to continue to bring Him glory in all we do. You have much to share with others - godly wisdom, life experience, fervent prayer, and much more. God wants you to minister to your families, friends, neighbors, and church family. We won’t make much about our age; rather, we will make much of our Savior!

When you boil it down, we hope our 65+ adults will do three things: know and walk with God, connect with and care for each other, and serve throughout the many ministries at the Creek. Whether you are new to the Christian faith or have walked with the Lord for many years, there is a place for you at the Creek - a place where you can both be personally encouraged and actively serve others.

As with all our Creek ministries, we will advance our church’s purpose as we Gather to Glorify God in worship, Grow as disciples of Jesus, and Go on mission with the Gospel. We encourage you to be steadfast in attending our worship services, plug into a Life Group, and seek ways to proclaim the Gospel and serve our Savior. If we can serve you in any way or support you in prayer, please reach out to Pastor John Wright at john@richlandcreek.com

LIFE GROUPS

The heart of Richland Creek is our life groups. On Sunday mornings the Creek offers a variety of Life Groups where we study the Word of God and experience loving gospel community. In our Life Groups, you will make lasting relationships through which we support and care for one another. We invite you to join us this Sunday.

FELLOWSHIP

One of the ways we promote gospel community is through special times of fellowship. Our Seniors Ministry offers a quarterly Luncheon, a Fall Retreat, as well as many other special gatherings throughout the year.

  • Seniors Luncheons - In addition to our Life Groups, we host quarterly luncheons for our seniors. After a wonderful meal together, we enjoy sweet worship, a devotion, and great fellowship. Our remaining 2025 luncheons are scheduled for June 17, September 16, and November 18. Sign-up information will be available in the Worship Guide prior to each luncheon. See below to register!
  • Fall Retreat - Each Fall, we retreat to various locations and enjoy time together. This year, we are going to Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA, from October 6-8. Together, we will enjoy some of the area's local attractions and then see the play NOAH at Sight and Sound. Sign-up details and costs will be released soon. See below to register!
  • Hymn Sings - Many of us grew up singing hymns that have stood the test of time, rich in theology and sound doctrine. We periodically gather for special occasions to worship the Lord by singing these hymns and fellowshipping together.
  • Movie Day - From time to time we fellowship together by enjoying a gospel inspired movie. Our next movie day is planned for Saturday, August 16... and yes, there will be popcorn and snacks!

NAOMI'S SISTERS

The Bible tells us to “plead for the widow” (Isa. 1:17). Life after the loss of a spouse is difficult and lonely. The mission of Naomi’s Sisters is to reach and minister to widows – both recent and longtime widows. Our goal is to help them find new life and purpose in Christ, and realize their identity in Him. We seek to accomplish our mission through loving community, Bible study, prayer, and special times of fellowship. We invite you to join us as we encourage one another through love and good works.

Naomi’s Sisters meet at 10:00 AM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
