Door Greeter


Description

  • Serve at our main entry points of the buildings by greeting all those who come into the church
  • Constantly on the lookout for first-time guests and help connect them with our Guest Services Team
  • Greet everyone with a warm welcome as they enter our building


Requirements

  • Actively attending worship on a consistent basis
  • Encouraged to be connected to a life group
  • Not required to be a member at the time of joining the ministry but need to have a plan for how/when they plan to join the church family
  • At present, no known unrepentant on-going sin that would disqualify them from representing the Lord Jesus and the church as they serve


Guest Services Volunteer


Description

  • Serve at our Guest Services Area, engaging with those who are attending for the first time at Richland Creek
  • Gather contact information from the first-time guest so we can appropriately follow up with them
  • Knowledgeable of the weekly happenings at Richland Creek
  • Able to explain and direct individuals to information that is specific to their interests, such as Life Groups, Children’s & Student Ministries, and what to expect in the worship service

  • Encouraged to be involved in a life group
  • At present, no known unrepentant on-going sin that would disqualify them from representing the Lord Jesus and the church as they serve 


Parking Lot Attendant


Description

  • Serve as the first face our guests & members see when pulling into campus
  • Helps our first-time guests and those that need assisted parking find their designated parking area in the front of the worship building
  • Dedicated volunteers willing to serve in various kinds of weather
  • Assist weekly by directing traffic and helping park vehicles
  • Assist cars getting on and off campus efficiently
  • Serve at various events helping with parking needs

Usher & Seating Team


Description

  • Our Ushers/Seating Team Members serve weekly by assisting those going into our worship center with finding a seat, distributing bulletins, assist with communion, and helping take up the offering
  • Many of our Ushers/Seating Team Members serve during the hour they attend worship, but this is not a requirement


Requirements

  • Member of the Church
  • Over the age of 16
  • Actively attending worship service on a consistent basis
  • Encouraged to be involved in a life group
  • At present, no known unrepentant ongoing sin that would disqualify them from representing the Lord Jesus and the church as they serve 


Next Steps Volunteer


Description

  • Serve as a key part of our connections process as we help people take their next step in getting involved with Richland Creek


Requirements

  • Member of the Church
  • Knowledgeable about our church membership process, life groups, serving opportunities across the church ministries, and comfortable talking with someone about salvation & baptism
  • Actively attending worship service on a consistent basis
  • Encouraged to be involved in a life group
  • At present, no known unrepentant ongoing sin that would disqualify them from representing the Lord Jesus and the church as they serve


Coffee Team


Description


  1. Serve on a team that provides coffee as a welcoming point of connection, fellowship, and hospitality.
  2. Set up coffee stations and prepare coffee, including monitoring levels and brewing more as necessary.
  3. Greet coffee guests with a warm smile and hello, and engage in gospel-centered interactions and conversations while serving.
  4. Clean service area and coffee pots, reset stations, and restock supplies for the next coffee service.

  3. Encouraged to be in a Life Group
