Pray for your Neighbors

  • gives you the tools to become a Light for Christ in your neighborhood. The site provides tools to get to know your neighbors by name so that you can begin to build relationships with them. Use your dashboard to track your individual progress with each neighbor. You will even receive optional daily reminder emails with a prayer prompt and 5 neighbors to pray for that day. It's free and confidential.
  • Easily share the gospel story via text or social media. You can set up an account in order to keep track of how many views and where people are viewing.

Prayerwalk or Prayerdrive your Neighborhood

Prayer walking (or driving) is conversational, observational, and prayerful! This is something you can do virtually with others thru FaceTime, etc. Tips for prayer walking or driving:

  • Conversational - You don't necessarily have to have your eyes closed (especially if you are driving). It is an ongoing conversation between you and God about the needs within your neighborhood and community. Be open to conversations around you with your neighbors as you are walking and praying, too.
  • Observational - Learn to observe the physical and spiritual needs of your community. Walking and driving in your community can greatly enhance and inform your prayers. Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see (Matthew 9:36-38)!
  • Prayerful - It is God who draws people, but He uses us to pray for and talk with people. Pray generally for people to come to know Jesus, for believers to be strengthened, and specifically for people you know or those that come across your path.
  • Gospel-centered - Look for and take gospel opportunities. Be ready to share the Good News of the Gospel in the power of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).

When you prayer walk or drive, pray for the following:

  • Open Heavens - Acts 2:17-21/Joel 2:28-32; Isaiah 64:1-8
  • Open Hearts - Ezekiel 37:1-10; Romans 10:6-13; 2 Corinthians 4:1-6 (we are also praying against the work of the enemy)
  • Open Homes - the Gospel into homes and Jesus on every street - Matthew 10; Luke 10
  • Open Highways - the Gospel would go forth and that we would find ways for it to travel naturally within our communities - Isaiah 40:1-15; Matthew 3:1-3
  • Open Hands - we, as God's people, would be willing to serve and give to our neighbors without expecting anything in return. This might be a tremendous witness especially in difficult times. Would we be 'gospel reflectors' - Romans 3:21-24; Ephesians 2:8-10; James 1:26-27; 1 John 3:18
