Church Family,

I would like to give you an update regarding one of our pastors, Dr. Ken Coley. Dr. Coley and his wife Kathy have been a faithful part of Richland Creek for so many years, and we are grateful for his leadership (I know what you may be thinking at this point, but don’t worry, the Coleys aren’t going anywhere). Dr. Coley has decided to step down from his role as Teaching Pastor and position on the Elder Body.

As many of you know, Dr. Coley is by profession and calling a Christian educator, and he has recently been offered an opportunity to co-author a textbook on Christian education that will be used by colleges around the U.S. and the world. He feels this is a God-given opportunity that will require a tremendous amount of his time and energy, and so he has decided to resign from his pastoral role.

Dr. Coley will continue to serve the church by leading his Life Group and contributing to our teacher training, and we are so grateful for that. If you know Dr. Coley, certainly thank him for his leadership in our church and also congratulate him on this writing opportunity.
