What do Anna, Mary (mother of Jesus), the Samaritan woman, Mary and Martha of Bethany, Mary Magdalene, Lydia, and Priscilla have in common? Here’s a hint: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation” (Hebrews 11:1-2).
These New Testament women have one thing in common: a legacy of faith that magnifies God’s grace. What motivated them to do what they did—by faith? How did Christ impact their lives? How can we continue their legacy of faith?
